Auto Chess Formation Guide: Strategy for Synergies

Auto Chess formation guide for building your favorite Synergy. A thorough strategy on how to start the Synergy you want to position from start to finish.

Auto Chess Formation Guide

This formation guide is from the Auto Chess game itself, formulated by Drodo Studios. Note that you can create your own, but so far, this strategy helped me in starting my favorite synergy build with a little mix of my own. One secret to winning synergy builds is to find where you are most comfortable at.

Formation Strategy for Divinity

This formation strategy for the Gods in Auto Chess which covers the Divine Mage synergy that is overpowered right now.

Divine Mage

The Divine Mage build consists of the following:

  • Synergy Effects:
    • Divinity: 2/2
    • Mage: 3/6
  • Advantages:
    • Control
    • Nuker
    • Magical Damage
  • Disadvantages:
    • Hard formation
  • Recommended 3-star pieces:
    • God of War
    • Thunder Spirit
    • Shining Dragon
    • Heaven Bomber

Early Rounds

Activate Warrior (3) Synergy effect with God of War and other 2-star Warrior pieces. Note that the other chosen Warriors can’t activate any Race effects. You can also find an alternative with Mech (2) Synergy effects since you will have Heaven Bomber as one of the late game pieces. If you want annoying attack and spell interruptions, go with Sky Breaker, for a pure damage small-scale AoE, go with Ripper. Divine Mage strategy is highly dependent on the Gold brought by winning streaks, that is, you need to get 40 or 50 gold in the early rounds.

Mid Rounds

With 50 gold at hand, you can buy Experience in this period. Try to get The Source and other Mage pieces with AoE damage. You can replace the unnecessary pieces with the main ones once they reach 2 stars. Again, make sure not to activate any Racial Synergy.

Late Rounds

Upon reaching level 8, if your bench is full, or if you don’t have your key pieces, buy EXP to level up to 9. If you don’t have the main recommended late pieces with you, refresh your store until you can get one. Zeus should be rollable at this time with a 3% chance. Once you obtain the God of Thunder, make sure to deploy AoE pieces and Storm Shaman to prevent your mage from being nuked first.
